Mattefied Purple Grey - Models Own

When I returned from holiday I had my three packages waiting for me!! YAAAAAY! The best kind of post...

and I jumped straight on the Models Own box to get hold of my new nail varnish!!

I've had peacock green on my nails for the past week but today I did a fresh mani, and I wanted to show you this look. This is Models Own Purple Grey.

Now, I've been after China Glaze's 'Matte Magic' for aaaageesss, but I never got around to buying it. Then I noticed that TopShop sold a Matte topcoat, so I thought I'd give that a whirl.
After applying the Purple Grey, I added my TopShop Matte topcoat. I've done before and after shots below, because you have to see it's AWESOMENESS! -

I love love looooooovvveeeee the Purple Grey as a matte colour - even though it really shows the imperfections.
The TopShop Matte polish works like a dream! I'd definitley recommend you going out and purchasing some...NOW! It's such a great way to transform a colour.

AND, I've just had an e-mail from E.L.F saying they now do a Matte topcoat. Hmmmmm It's only £1.50 so might be worth trying this one out first!
